ECS Group of Companies (ECS) is pleased to announce that Charles M. Ledney has joined the firm as a group manager in our Johnstown, PA, satellite office, overseeing operations while supporting the Pittsburgh office when needed. Chuck brings more than 30 years of professional experience to his new role.
In his position, Chuck supports the growth of the geotechnical and construction materials testing (CMT) groups in Johnstown, aligning with the company’s broader business objectives. Utilizing his many years of experience in geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, laboratory testing and multidisciplinary project management, Chuck has led many complex projects. In addition to his technical and leadership responsibilities, he also serves as the Office Manager for the newly opened Johnstown satellite office.
Chuck also works closely with senior management to set goals and reports on progress while coordinating efforts across departments to implement initiatives effectively. Additionally, he manages and mentors a team of CMT and geotechnical professionals, equipping them with the skills, knowledge and resources needed for success.
“I’m excited by the prospect of bringing an ENR Top 100 firm to my hometown region,” Chuck stated. “I’m looking forward to becoming part of the team and building good working relationships as ECS continues to grow and expand across the US.”
He also holds a Bachelor of Science in geology with a minor in civil engineering from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
