ECS Technician Integration Program

Technician integration is the first step in training for new construction materials testing (CMT) field technicians. This program equips CMT field technicians to move forward with their career at ECS.

 

ECS Certification

ECS’ internal certification program is designed to qualify CMT field and lab personnel to prepare them to efficiently and effectively complete a variety of projects for our clients.

 

Standing Committees

ECS’ standing committees offer an opportunity for employees to engage and be involved in decision making while gaining a deeper understanding of aspects of ECS outside of their day-to-day responsibilities. Committees tackle a variety of projects throughout the year, delivering value in real time.

 

Advanced Field Services Apprenticeship Program

The ECS advanced field services apprenticeship program provides hands-on training opportunities and supports career pathways within and across service lines to generate a well-qualified group of expert, non-managerial field staff. 

 

Project Manager Training

This training program is designed for new, first-time project managers to gain an understanding of project management responsibilities within the context of ECS’ systems and culture.

 

People Manager Program

Intended for first-time and newly hired managers, ECS’ people manager program delivers key management tasks and skills. Topics covered include ECS culture and mission statement, leading effectively, managing difficult conversations, recruiting, employee development, management of others, policies and procedures, employment law and more.

 

Mentoring in New Talent

Mentoring in New Talent (MINT) is a three-year program that aims to attract, develop and retain female rising stars by building coaching and mentoring skills that support career growth.

The Promoting All Women’s Strengths (PAWS) program encourages professional growth through developing a community for women within ECS. This community focuses on breaking down barriers by fostering and embracing diversity.

 

Future Leaders Program

The Future Leaders Program (FLP) identifies and engages ECS professionals to develop a stronger understanding of company culture and the business of ECS. This company-wide program is designed for those employees with a minimum of six years’ industry experience. Cohorts engage in events consisting of discussion, lectures, team building and networking.

 

Masters in Leadership

Masters in Leadership (MLP) is the next step in leadership development for executives. Participants must have 15+ years’ leadership experience and further refines learning about ECS culture, values and decision-making processes. Cohorts are largely self-study and exploration based with monthly calls and quarterly, live group meetings featuring lecture and workshop elements.

 

Associate Principal Designation Program

Associate principal is the first step in senior-staff designations with technical oversight on projects. Those who achieve associate principal have proven themselves capable to act as a mentor for junior staff, a proficient technical lead for clients and a brand ambassador for ECS.

 

Principal Designation Program

Principal is the second step in senior-staff designations with technical oversight on projects. A principal has demonstrated technical competence in multiple areas of expertise, professional experience, leadership skills, safety qualifications, business development performance, risk management and quality assurance at the next level.
