University Programs

No, ECS provides the training for our interns. We have three levels of interns (beginner, intermediate and advanced).

Our internships are all slightly different. You can expect hands-on field experience that has you on projects providing solutions to our clients.

Our internship program is the training ground for our future hires. Our goal is to provide an experience that prepares you to come onboard full-time after graduation.

We seek degrees that complement our services. We recognize there are several degree programs, but typically hire civil engineering, construction management, architectural engineering and environmental science majors. ECS also offers opportunities outside of our technical expertise such as marketing, business development, support staff and IT.

We primarily hire interns to work during the summer.

Unfortunately, no. If you have already graduated or will be graduating soon we encourage you visit our career center and search our open positions.

Ideally, you will be in pursuit of an industry-related services degree, have reliable transportation and be located near an ECS location.

Don’t be discouraged. Things that can set you apart from others include achieving industry training and certifications from organizations such as: American Concrete Institute, Washington Area Council of Engineering Laboratories, and Occupational Safety & Heath Administration (40 hour HAZWOPER).
