ECS is pleased to announce that Thomas S. Sevacko, EIT, has been promoted to construction materials testing (CMT) department manager for our Pittsburgh, PA, office. Thomas joined ECS in 2022 as a geotechnical project manager and has since contributed significantly to the office’s success in his role.
In his new role as CMT department manager, Thomas oversees operations, project management, budgets, project deliverables, quality control, and business development and training field staff. Thomas’ experience has taught him the importance of training and preparing others for various tasks and inspections. Additionally, he leverages soft skills to lead, mentor and collaborate with geotechnical and construction materials engineers and project managers.
When asked about his promotion, Thomas said, “Being elevated to this position means that I can set a standard of excellence in training, professionalism and career satisfaction. I want each of our field technicians to take pride in working for ECS and for each of them to have a long and fulfilling career with us.”
Thomas looks forward to contributing to the continued growth of ECS’ Pittsburgh office and strengthening the firm’s presence in the local market. He also envisions ECS continuing to grow as a top-tier, nationwide firm, supporting clients and project development across the country and beyond.
