ECS Group of Companies (ECS) is pleased to announce that Chris Wagner, PE, has joined the firm as a new Senior Pavement Engineer in our Marrieta, GA, office. Chris brings 26 years of professional experience to his new role.
In his role, Chris supports the department’s growth and aligns with the company’s broader business objectives. Leveraging his many years of experience, he contributes his expertise in pavement engineering and oversees construction materials testing and acceptance, helping verify that materials and construction practices meet project specifications, quality standards and regulatory requirements. Through these efforts, he plays an important role in delivering dependable engineering solutions and supporting successful project outcomes.
Chris also works closely with senior management to set goals and to report on progress, while coordinating effective cross-departmental initiatives. Additionally, he manages and mentors a team, equipping them with the skills, knowledge and resources needed for success.
“Safe, durable, cost-effective and sustainable pavements and infrastructure are important to our nation’s security, economy and quality of life,” Chris stated. “I will apply my technical expertise and experience working with others to continue this work with ECS.”
Chris also holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Auburn University.
