The firm was also recognized for an engineering project that showcased our emergency responsiveness and expertise using forensic investigation, detailed structural and roofing design and construction support for a warehouse roof collapse in Norfolk, VA, in 2023. “As professional engineers, we have a responsibility to ensure the safety of the public who occupy buildings,” said Fiorentino. “Although not involved with the original design of the building, ECS assisted the building owner with assessing the cause of damage and provided guidance to support the future safety of occupants.”
