Novi, MI (October 15, 2026) — ECS Group of Companies (ECS), a leader in engineering consulting services, is pleased to announce the opening of its newest satellite office in Novi, MI. The new location expands ECS’ presence in the Midwest and strengthens the company’s ability to provide engineering consulting services to clients throughout Michigan and the surrounding region.
Located at 25881 Meadowbrook Road, the Novi office serves as a satellite to ECS’ Midwest services office and operations in Chicago, IL, and supports the company’s continued growth in the local market. As a satellite to our Midwest services home office, this new location enhances our ability to accommodate the unique needs of clients. ECS offers tailored services including construction materials testing (CMT), geotechnical engineering, environmental engineering and consulting and building science + infrastructure. The company holds Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) geotechnical prequalifications, expanding ECS’ ability to support transportation and infrastructure projects throughout the state.
As the Novi location continues to grow, ECS plans to expand and establish the office as a full-service location to meet the evolving needs of clients throughout the region. The office operates under the direction of Senior VP, Subsidiary Regional Manager Mahmoud El-Gamal, PhD, PE, G.DE, who brings extensive leadership experience to the role and supports the continued development of ECS’ technical capabilities, client relationships and operations throughout the region.

Kennan Robins leads the environmental services group in Novi, bringing extensive experience in industrial hygiene, environmental due diligence and site development management. His expertise strengthens ECS Midwest’s expanding capabilities and supports the company’s continued growth in Michigan.
