ECS is pleased to announce that Robert A. Hill, III, PE, was promoted to construction materials testing (CMT) department manager for our Richmond, VA, office. Robert joined ECS in 2020 as a senior engineer and has since contributed to the office’s success in his role.
In his new role as CMT department manager, Robert oversees operations, project management, budgets, project deliverables, quality control and business development and training field staff. Robert’s experience has taught him the importance of training and preparing others for various tasks and inspections. Additionally, he leverages soft skills to lead, mentor and collaborate with geotechnical and construction materials engineers and project managers.
When asked about his promotion, Robert said, “I am grateful for the opportunity. I am excited to begin a new chapter at ECS as CMT Department Manager, working with a team of talented professionals.”
Robert envisions ECS emerging as a top-tier, nationwide firm, supporting clients and project development across the country and beyond. He also looks forward to contributing to the continued expansion of the Richmond office in the local market.
