ECS Group of Companies (ECS) is pleased to announce that Michael McLain, PE, BCO, has joined the firm as a Geotechnical Senior Project Engineer in our Pittsburgh, PA, office. Michael brings more than 15 years of professional experience to his new role.
In his position, Michael supports the growth of the geotechnical and construction materials testing (CMT) groups in Pittsburgh, aligning with the company’s broader business objectives. Utilizing his many years of experience, Michael has led numerous complex projects throughout the region.
Michael also works closely with senior management to set goals and reports on progress while coordinating efforts across the two departments to implement initiatives effectively. Additionally, he manages and mentors a team of geotechnical and CMT professionals, equipping them with the skills, knowledge and resources needed for success.
“I am excited to join a growing company with an experienced team of engineers and project managers,” said Michael. “I am looking forward to working with a supportive team that has broad experience with different projects and engineering disciplines.”
He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
