Chantilly, VA (October 13, 2026) — ECS Group of Companies (ECS) is pleased to announce two executive leadership promotions that strengthen the company’s growth and national accounts functions: Grant Walker has been promoted to Chief Growth Officer, and Rylan Farr has been promoted to Senior Director of National Accounts. Together, these moves align ECS’ client development and account management strategy under a unified leadership team as the company continues its national growth.
Grant Walker Promoted to Chief Growth Officer
Grant Walker has been promoted to Chief Growth Officer, a newly elevated executive role responsible for revenue growth, strategic client development, market intelligence and customer experience across ECS. Grant will report to the President & CEO and will lead a company-wide, multi-year growth strategy, support national accounts and represent growth initiatives to the board and executive leadership.
Grant joined ECS in 1996 as a geotechnical engineer and has held several leadership positions throughout his tenure, including Branch Manager, Regional Executive, Corporate Director of National Accounts and Executive Director of Strategy and National Accounts. He has also served as a principal and contributed to ECS’ internal leadership development programs. With 32 years of professional experience in geotechnical engineering, Grant brings extensive technical expertise, strategic leadership and organizational knowledge to his new role.

Rylan Farr Promoted to Senior Director of National Accounts
Rylan Farr has been promoted to Senior Director of National Accounts, where he will lead the overall National Accounts Program at ECS, including the Corporate National Accounts Team and National Account Managers across the company’s operations offices. Rylan will focus on strategically growing the program, building new business opportunities and partnering with the Chief Growth Officer to bring consistency to ECS’ national sales process.
Rylan joined ECS in 2025 as Director of Strategy & National Accounts – Environmental, bringing more than 26 years of experience in environmental consulting, strategic account leadership, client development and sales operations. Throughout his career, he has led strategic growth initiatives, managed national client programs and multidisciplinary teams and supported business development across multiple service lines. His experience also includes strategic planning, market and industry analysis, sales operations and key account management for national clients.
Rylan holds a Bachelor of Science in natural resources management and engineering from the University of Connecticut, with a concentration in hydrology. His professional affiliations include serving as an advisory board member at the University of New Haven and involvement with the Water Environment Federation, New England Water Environment Association, ASTM International committees C27 and E64, National Municipal Stormwater Alliance and International Council of Shopping Centers.
