ECS Group of Companies (ECS) is pleased to announce that David Carden, PG, has joined the firm in our Nashville, TN, office as an Office Manager, while supporting operations in the western region for the states of Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Arkansas.
David brings 29 years of experience to his role at ECS, offering a strong foundation in environmental consulting and sustainability. David has built a reputation of providing world class environmental compliance, due diligence and environmental risk analysis for industrial and commercial clients for projects across the country. With a collaborative mindset and a focus on continuous improvement, he contributes to solutions that strengthen partnerships and support long-term project success.
In his role, David leads environmental staff with a focus on technical quality, budget alignment and timely delivery while managing overall office operations. He supports project teams, coordinates administrative functions and manages resources to keep work running efficiently. His responsibilities also include assisting with budgeting, billing and performance tracking, along with supporting hiring, onboarding and team development. In addition, he contributes to client coordination and proposal efforts while helping maintain compliance with company policies and safety standards to support consistent, high-quality project delivery.

David also holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Virginia Tech.
