ECS Group of Companies (ECS) announces the promotion of Thomas J. DeGaetano, PE, to office manager of our Charlottesville, VA, office. Thomas joined ECS in 2017 and has contributed significantly to the office’s success in his most recent role as assistant branch manager and geotechnical department manager.
In his new role, Thomas leads staff with a focus on technical quality, budget alignment and timely delivery while managing overall office operations. He supports project teams, coordinates administrative functions and manages resources to keep work running efficiently. His responsibilities also include assisting with budgeting, billing and performance tracking, along with supporting hiring, onboarding and team development. In addition, he contributes to client coordination and proposal efforts while helping maintain compliance with company policies and safety standards to support consistent, high-quality project delivery.
