ECS is pleased to announce that Scott Nelson, PE, has been promoted to subsidiary director of nondestructive testing (NDT) services for ECS Mid-Atlantic. Scott brings 16 years of professional experience to his new role and has been a valued member of ECS since joining the company in 2011. Throughout his ECS career, Scott has served as a project manager, CMT department manager, CMT operations manager and principal.
In his new role, Scott will develop and execute NDT practices across the ECS Mid-Atlantic region. He will focus on advancing the NDT group and bringing new ideas to the team.
“I am eager to elevate the NDT group like never before,” Scott said. “I have a lot of ideas that are ready for me to share and see come to fruition.”
Scott has spent most of his career with ECS and looks forward to bringing renewed energy to the role. For Scott, the promotion represents an opportunity to pursue new goals alongside the talented professionals who currently support ECS and those who may join the company in the future.
