Facilitating the structural integrity of a new 125,000-square-foot sports performance center

Completed in 2023, the Jaguars Miller Electric Center was designed to serve as a state-of-the-art facility for locker rooms, player training and recovery areas, medical support facilities, office space and more. ECS Group of Companies was there to provide continued support for an over decade-long relationship with the Jacksonville Jaguars through performing threshold inspections to facilitate structural integrity, safety and compliance of large, multi-story buildings.

Challenge: Achieving Florida code compliance

The project required adherence to Florida’s threshold inspection requirements for a large-scale sports facility, placing significant regulatory responsibility on the inspection team. Coordination across structural, geotechnical and materials testing disciplines was necessary to meet City of Jacksonville building code standards throughout construction.
