Please join us in welcoming Justin Laughlin to ECS! Justin joins our Mid-Atlantic subsidiary as an Environmental Senior Project Manager, bringing 22 years of experience in ecosystem restoration and environmental consulting.
Based in Fredericksburg, VA, Justin will lead projects focused on stream and wetland restoration, Natural Resource permit applications, natural resource studies and Phase I ESAs for both public and private sector clients. His expertise spans hydrologic and geomorphic assessment and design, river morphology, natural resource planning and permitting and construction management.
Justin holds a Master of Science in Wildlife and Fisheries Science from the University of Tennessee and a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from Mississippi State University. He has earned advanced training in stream restoration, including Rosgen Stream Classification Levels I–IV and NCSU River Restoration short courses. His professional certifications include MDE Erosion and Sediment Control Responsible Personnel Certification and MD SHA Erosion and Sediment Control Yellow Card. Justin is an active member of the Maryland Stream Restoration Association and the Society for Ecological Restoration.
