ECS Group of Companies (ECS) is proud to announce the arrival of Fred DeLeon Jr., PE, PG, D.GE, as chief engineer for ECS’ Southeast subsidiary. With more than 35 years of experience in the industry, Fred brings a combination of technical expertise and a mentorship spirit that help ECS reach new heights.
In Fred’s new position, he not only serves as a leader in geotechnical engineering but also a guide who shares his knowledge with the next generation of engineers and scientists.
“Working as chief engineer at ECS presents a valuable opportunity to contribute my expertise across a range of technical areas, while also supporting and mentoring younger engineers and scientists,” said Fred. “This helps foster a strong and sustainable pipeline of technical talent within the company.”
Fred’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Illinois at Chicago, Bachelor and Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Louisiana Tech University, and a Juris Doctor degree in Law from the Samford University Cumberland School of Law. He is also a member of the following organizations:
