Camden Plantation Renovation

Private provider inspections to support a large-scale multifamily renovation

The Camden Apartments renovation in Plantation, Florida involved a major redevelopment of an existing multi-family community. With 37 two-story buildings, garages, and a clubhouse undergoing upgrades, the scale and pace of the project demanded a reliable inspection partner. The municipality initially handled inspections but couldn’t keep up with the volume, prompting the client to bring in ECS Group of Companies (ECS) to maintain timely code compliance and occupancy approvals.

Challenge: Municipal inspections fell behind

The scope of renovations across dozens of buildings created a high inspection volume. Municipal resources could not keep pace, leading to scheduling bottlenecks that threatened construction progress and delayed tenants temporarily relocated during the renovation.

Solution: Multi-trade inspections under private provider authority

ECS stepped in mid-project to provide Private Provider inspections under Florida Statute 553.791. Our team conducted mechanical, electrical, plumbing and building inspections across the structures. By taking over the remaining inspections, ECS helped the client avoid delays and maintain momentum during a key phase of construction.
