Located in Cleveland’s Ohio City neighborhood, the Church + State project consisted of two new apartment buildings with over 150 luxury apartments. The property includes one six-story and one 11-story apartment building, 20,000 sf of ground-level retail space, a 10,000 sf public plaza and a 200-space underground parking garage. ECS was retained by Turner Construction Company to provide complete construction materials testing and special inspections regarding soil compaction, concrete testing including post tensioned decks, structural steel, crack monitoring, and firestopping inspection.
