ECS is pleased to announce Steve Homar, PE has been promoted to Office Manager -Vice President of our Milwaukee, WI, office. Steve joined ECS in 2023 as the Milwaukee Construction Materials Department Manager. Steve brings over 28 years of industry and market experience to his new role.
In his position as Office Manager, Steve is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the office, growing the geotechnical and construction materials departments and helping the business development team foster existing client relationships and develop new ones.
“With hard work and healthy, strategic growth, I believe we can achieve the billion-dollar plan, and more,” Steve says. “The framework of our policies and operations retains a flexibility that allows for new ideas and new technologies to be added while still supporting existing practices. Successfully incorporating new with old is critical for remaining in growth mode.”
Originally from Waukesha, WI, Steve attended the University of Minnesota Twin Cities where he received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
