Pratt Promoted to Facilities Principal

ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC is pleased to announce that William Pratt, PE, has been promoted to Facilities Principal. Mr. Pratt joined ECS in 2000 and has served in multiple branch offices during his time with the company. He currently works in the Due Diligence Department while maintaining his role as Professional-in-Charge on projects in Washington, DC.

Mr. Pratt has extensive experience in performing Property and Facility Condition Assessments across multiple sectors. These assessments include evaluation of site improvements, building components, roofing, pavements, electrical systems, mechanical systems and HVAC systems in general accordance with ASTM E 2018 – 08, Standard Guide for Property Condition Assessments: Baseline Property Condition Assessment Process. He holds additional experience in property condition assessments with lender- and client-specific requirements to include projects with Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.

Mr. Pratt also provides supervision of code compliance inspection programs for local jurisdictions. His inspections proficiency areas include building, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire detection, fire protection and energy code building systems. He is knowledgeable in specialized code requirements for local governments, state governments and federal buildings administered under the GSA Facilities Standards P-100 code requirements.

A Professional Engineer in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, DC, Mr. Pratt received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1989 from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the Washington Area Council for Engineering Laboratories (WACEL).
