Levisay Promoted to Principal

Teresa Levisay

ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC is pleased to announce that Teresa Levisay, PE, has been promoted to Geotechnical Principal with the firm. Ms. Levisay originally joined ECS in 2007 and serves as a Geotechnical Group Manager in ECS’ Chantilly, VA, office. In addition, Ms. Levisay has experience managing term contract projects for Fairfax County Department of Public Works, Fairfax County Stormwater Planning and the Fairfax County Maintenance and Stormwater Management Division.

Ms. Levisay’s professional expertise includes deep foundation design, shallow foundations, geotechnical ground improvement analysis, slope stability analysis, retaining wall design, pavement design and evaluation of stormwater management facilities. She is responsible for overall group management, with primary responsibilities of review and issuance of final geotechnical and CMT reports and certifications.

It has been exciting to see her career progression and her recent achievement of becoming a Principal Engineer,” said Bryan Layman, Vice President with the firm and Office Manager of the ECS Chantilly office. “This achievement recognizes her leadership and technical skills and is well deserved.”

A Professional Engineer in Virginia, Ms. Levisay received her Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering in 2006 and her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 2005 from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN.
