Jacksonville Office Welcomes New Chief Engineer

ECS is pleased to announce Tom Goldsbury, PE., CBO., LEED AP has joined the Jacksonville office as a Chief Engineer. Tom brings 50 years of experience to ECS where he has developed a broad skillset and knowledge base making him an expert in Florida building code. Through his time in the industry Tom has received the Good Government Award by the Northeast Florida Builders Association, the Building Official of the Year Award by First Coast Chapter of the Building Officials Association of Florida and the Award of Excellence by Barton Mallow-Thomkins Beckwith.

As a Chief Engineer, Tom will be responsible for leading and mentoring his team, training and support of inspectors and engineers, engaging client relationships, and support communication with local and regional building departments along with the communities we serve

“While working for the City of Jacksonville I experienced working with ECS on multiple projects, now I get to experience working for ECS,” Tom says, “I look forward to assisting contractors, property owners, and developers reach their project goals.”

Originally from Sewickley, PA, Tom attained his Master of Science in Civil Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
