ECS Mid-Atlantic Announces New Hires and Promotions

ECS is pleased to announce the following new hires and promotions across Mid-Atlantic:

Marco Gravina, PE joined ECS’ Frederick, MD office as a Geotechnical Associate Principal Engineer. Marco was recently promoted to a Geotechnical Principal Engineer effective June 28th, 2023. Marco brings more than 34 years of experience to his new role and holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park. He has worked on numerous projects across the US including the Washington DC Metro Area and several international projects in the Middle East and Latin America. He has experience in the following areas: subsurface investigations, ground improvement, geotechnical instrumentation, foundation analysis, slope stability analysis, deep foundations and construction inspections.

Nate Schwarz, PE joined ECS’ Baltimore, MD office this past month as a Construction Materials Principal Engineer. Nate brings more than 15 years of experience in special inspections, materials testing, non-destructive testing, and in-situ concrete testing to his new role. Nate said, ‘In the brief time I’ve been here, I’ve been impressed with the group of professionals in the Baltimore and Aberdeen offices. I’m excited to be a part of the ECS team.” Nate holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Clarkson University.

Guillermo Bustamante, PE joined ECS’ York, PA office as a Geotechnical Senior Project Engineer. Guillermo brings eight years of experience to his new role. His responsibilities include planning and implementing field explorations, writing geotechnical reports, providing design support and geotechnical consultancy and mentoring senior and junior staff members. Guillermo attended Brigham Young University and holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

Raghu Peddishree, PE joined ECS’ Philadelphia, PA office as a Group Manager in the CMT department. Raghu brings more than 19 years of experience to ECS in construction materials testing and geotechnical engineering. Raghu holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a geotechnical engineering focus and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Kakatiya University in India. In his role, Raghu is responsible for providing technical oversight on CMT projects, leading a group of project managers and expanding services towards the north of Philadelphia.
