ECS Announces New National Director of Special Projects

ECS is pleased to announce Randy Wirt, PE, DBIA has been promoted to National Director of Special Projects and will be based out of our Richmond, VA office. Randy joined ECS in 2011 and previously served as Office Manager and Director of Engineering for the Mid-Atlantic Special Projects Group.

As National Director of Special Projects, Randy will be responsible for helping to foster the growth of subsidiary-based Special Project Groups across the company and assist those groups with organizational logistics, proposal and pursuit reviews, staffing and coordination across subsidiaries with common client and business development interactions. He will also work with the Special Project Groups to develop internal training and tracking for consistent quality in support of project proposals, reports, scope and fee documents, and pursuit-phase deliverables. He will also provide input for technical decisions, review of project deliverables, project management, and standardization of work products as they pertain to SPG client needs.

Randy received his Bachelor and Master of Science in Civil Engineering degrees from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He is a registered PE in 6 states and holds a DBIA certification. Randy also maintains participation in several professional organizations including ACEC, DFI, ASTM, VTCA, and DBIA.
