Engineering Consulting Services (ECS) is pleased to announce that Salvatore “Sal” Fiorentino, PE, has been promoted to Subsidiary President of ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC. Sal succeeds Leo Titus, Jr., PE, who will take on the role of Chief Operating Officer of the ECS Group of Companies after serving as the Subsidiary President since 2008.

“Sal’s experience and leadership abilities will be a great force in the future growth of ECS Mid-Atlantic,” said Leo. “I’m excited to work with him and his team as they take the group to new levels of success!”

Sal celebrates 20 years with ECS in 2021, and he most recently served as the Northern Regional Manager for the Mid-Atlantic subsidiary. In his new role, he will oversee operations and work with senior management in the strategic planning for the growth and expansion of ECS’ Mid-Atlantic offices located in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

“I’m honored to have been chosen to assume the leadership role of the Mid-Atlantic subsidiary,” said Sal. “Past leadership has set the bar high, but I look forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead. The Mid-Atlantic region has a very talented group of professionals who I’m excited to collaborate with in my new capacity.”

A member of the ECS team since 1997, Leo holds more than 30 years of experience in geotechnical and construction materials engineering, special inspections and environmental services. He is actively involved with many regional and state professional organizations serving in multiple board-level positions and is currently the chairman of the ASTM E36 committee and the Treasurer of the Geoprofessional Business Association (GBA).

“ECS is an outstanding organization with a fantastic team of people,” said Leo. “It’s an honor to be asked to take on the COO role and help the company as it continues to grow.”
