Holiday Giving Back

Reading Time: 1 minute
This is the time of year when each of us gives thanks for the many gifts that we have. We are especially thankful for the gifts of family, friends, cherished clients, wonderful co-workers and great communities. In the spirit of the holiday, our employees are giving back and making a difference in their local communities.

ECS MidWest

Members of ECS Midwest took action against gastrointestinal cancers by participating in The Allstate Hot Chocolate 15k/5k on November 4th as part of Team Eisenberg. The Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation funds critical research at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center at Northwestern University, a national leader in cancer medicine.

ECS Mid-Atlantic

ECS Chantilly has been participating in toy drives since 1997. This year the team collected toys for Inova Hospital and the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots. ECS Chantilly included the toy drive during this year’s holiday party hosted for clients, who were all tremendous supporters with their donations.

ECS Pittsburgh created a National Sock Day (Tuesday, 12/4) campaign for clients. As our client gift this year, we bought socks from Bombas and for every pair of socks we bought, we were able to donate 2 pairs to homeless shelters. We were able to donate 250 pairs of socks to a local shelter.

ECS Florida

ECS Orlando was an “Ultimate Hero” sponsor for the Feeding Children Everywhere, NAIOP Hunger Project. ECS employees and their families attended a meal packing event on November 15th and packaged 30,300 meals for children in Central Florida.

ECS Southeast

This year, several ECS Asheville team members gave blood as part of Giving Tuesday.

ECS Southwest

ECS Dallas has volunteered with the local Salvation Army including bell ringing to collect donations, as well as preparing and providing meals.
