ECS is pleased to announce that Ryan Williams, PE, was promoted to construction materials testing (CMT) department manager for our Chesapeake, VA, office. Ryan joined ECS in 2012 as a field technician and has since served as a laboratory supervisor, geotechnical-staff project manager and most recently a geotechnical project manager.
In his new role as CMT department manager, Ryan oversees operations, project management and budgets, technicians and their training. Ryan’s experience progressing his career with ECS through a variety of roles taught him the importance of training and preparing others for various tasks and inspections, which makes him uniquely suited to prepare technicians for their current and future roles as his department grows.
When asked about his promotion, Ryan said, “I am very thankful for this opportunity to advance in my career and further my knowledge of the field, and I am looking forward to continuing to grow a successful department.”
Ryan has enjoyed being a part of our CMT group over the last 11 years and is extremely excited about the opportunity to help grow our CMT footprint.
