ECS is pleased to announce Chris Calhoun, Sr., PE, joins us as a Geotechnical Department Manager and Associate Principal in our Houston, TX, office. Chris brings 16 years of experience to the firm.
With a diverse background in engineering across multiple industries, including consulting and construction, Chris brings a unique perspective to help expand ECS’ services in the Houston market.
In his role as Geotechnical Department Manager, Chris helps stimulate business growth by identifying new project opportunities in the Houston market. He leads engineers and project managers, oversees geotechnical and field-services projects, prepares and reviews reports, assembles proposals and assists senior staff with contact maintenance.
When asked about the opportunity with ECS, Chris said, “This position is an acknowledgment of the hard work I have put into my career. I am excited about this challenging opportunity to help lead and grow the Houston office.”
A native of Baltimore, MD, Chris earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Morgan State University and his Master of Engineering in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Maryland College Park.
