ECS Group of Companies (ECS) announces Drew Ptak, PE, joins the firm as a Geotechnical Department Manager in our Chicago, IL, office. Drew brings 31 years of experience in geotechnical and construction materials.
Throughout his career, he’s worked on many private and public projects in the Chicago area. This extensive background provides our Chicago office with a significant competitive edge.
In this role, Drew identifies new project opportunities to drive business growth. He manages engineers and project managers and helps senior staff with client communication. Drew also supervises projects and services, reviews reports and creates proposals.
“This opportunity means a lot to me,” said Drew. “I can share years of industry knowledge with the next generation of engineers here.”
As a Chicago native, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and his Master of Science in Geotechnical-Structural Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
