The ECS Group of Companies (ECS) is pleased to announce the addition of Luke Johnson, SE, PE, to the Midwest Facilities team. As Facilities Department Manager, Mr. Johnson will lead the development of regional accounts across the Midwest for the Facilities group. Additionally, he will focus on maintaining, developing and expanding facilities service offerings within the Midwest while coordinating with the firm’s construction materials testing and geotechnical service lines.
Mr. Johnson brings more than 15 years of experience in structural engineering to his new role. He holds a broad range of knowledge in building forensic and investigative work to include parking garage investigations and restorations, property condition assessments, adaptive reuse and structural restoration of existing buildings, water infiltration investigations, roofing assessments and insurance claim investigations.

In addition, he spent the last few years working at the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) as technical support for the steel deign profession. Luke has the passion and drive to meet our clients’ needs and provide unique insight to solving all types of problems through innovative engineering.”
Mr. Johnson earned his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering in 2003. He is a licensed Structural Engineer in Illinois and a licensed Professional Engineer in Wisconsin and Indiana. He is an active member in the Structural Engineering Association of Illinois.
