We caught up with Kayla to learn a little more about what has inspired her.

Q: How did you come to ECS?

A: The office/company River Valley Testing (RVT) was acquired by ECS 5 years ago (December 2017) We have offices in Neenah and Green Bay, WI.

Q: What motivates you to work hard?

A: My family motivates me. My parents were great inspiration and instilled in me to always do my best, not give up and don’t be afraid to take risks. Now, I have my own children; knowing they are always watching drives me to succeed.

Q: What was your first job?

A: My very fist job was a newspaper route when I was in middle school. After I worked in retail and accounting/tax prep during high school and college.

Q: What is your proudest accomplishment?

A: One of my proudest accomplishments is becoming Office Administrator for the Green Bay, WI office.

Q: What advice would you give to someone entering the industry?

A: Have an open mind. There is so much to take in, and so many opportunities.

Q: What does winning the GRIT Award mean to you?

Winning the GRIT award reassures me that my role, what I’m doing is important and making an impact. I was nominated for the GRIT award when I was an administrative assistant; I think it goes to show that everyone within ECS has an important role and is responsible for the success of the company. I’m the second person from our office to win a GRIT award within 3 years. I think that speaks volumes about our office and our leadership.
