Hopkins Joins ECS as Senior Project Architect

Engineering Consulting Services (ECS) is pleased to announce that Kevin Hopkins, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP (BD+C) has joined the firm as a Senior Project Architect with the Mid-Atlantic Facilities Group. Mr. Hopkins brings more than 18 years of experience in the industry and specializes in building envelope, roofing assembly and curtain wall design and construction. He has previously worked on mid- to large-scale projects involving code and accessibility compliance; integration of building envelope materials and building equipment systems; sustainable building practices; and construction contract administration.

“Kevin is a fantastic addition to our Building Envelope Department with deep experience in design and complex project delivery. He is taking a leadership role in our Richmond location and for the group across the Mid-Atlantic region,” said Keith Nelson, Principal Architect and Building Envelope Department Manager with the Mid-Atlantic Facilities Group.

Mr. Hopkins is a licensed Professional Architect in in Virginia and North Carolina. He is certified through the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and holds a specialty LEED AP Building Design and Construction designation. He earned his Bachelor of Architecture in 2001 from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, VA, and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
