ECS Southeast Special Projects Group Hires New Group Manager

ECS is pleased to announce Jack Morrisroe, PE has joined ECS Southeast’s Special Projects Group as a Group Manage to support offices and operation in our Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee offices. Jack brings 12 years of experience to his new role, where he has developed specialties in Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) and transportation infrastructure.

As a Group Manager, Jack will be responsible for providing technical support to the GPR operations staff and to support ECS offices in further developing this service line. This will include training in GPR applications and analysis and oversight to ensure that GPR services are performed in accordance with relevant standards and best practices. Jack will also manage and carry out GPR projects that fall outside of the typical day-to-day applications.

“I love what I do. I have specialized in the application of GPR to solve infrastructure problems for my entire career so far, and in that time have seen tremendous changes in the technology,” says Jack, “To be able to continue to work in this developing industry with the enthusiastic backing of a large consultant like ECS is exciting for me professionally. In this fast-moving but critically important industry if you are not moving forward, you are falling behind.”

Originally from Cambridge, England, Jack attained a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Derby.
