ECS Mid-Atlantic Announces New Director of Facilities Services

ECS is pleased to announce that Michael Sladki, PE, has been promoted to Director of Mid-Atlantic Facilities Services effective May 8th, 2023 as current Director Rich Storbeck retires. Michael joined ECS in 2013 and since then has served as an Assistant Branch Manager as well as Vice President, Principal Engineer for the Mid-Atlantic facilities group.

While in his previous roles, Michael faced many tests, but no bigger trial than bringing all the varied skill sets and personalities in facilities across the company, into a cohesive team as part of our internal Facilities Committee. However, through hard work, outstanding leadership and a steadfast spirit, he brought focus to the group and promoted cross-subsidiary support and interaction within our facilities services team.

As Director of Mid-Atlantic Facilities Services, Michael will be responsible for the growth and successful execution of projects across the entire Mid-Atlantic region, the continued growth of our personnel and supporting the engineers, architects, code professionals and technicians by interacting on their behalf with our corporate team.

Michael says, “I am honored to have been chosen to replace Rich Storbeck, who did so much for the group; shepherding us through the transition to a regional office and really providing the spark that has become the flame of facilities services in the Mid Atlantic. I look forward to continuing our growth path as we add staff, open new locations and develop new services.”

Michael has enjoyed the opportunity to lead and grow our facilities group over the last 10 years and is excited about the opportunity to continue to promote the growth of the staff in his new role.
