ECS Southeast, LLP excitedly announces the promotion of Edgar McIntosh, PE to Geotechnical Department Manager of the Greenville, SC office.
Edgar began his career with ECS in 2010 as an intern and joined the firm full time in 2014 as a CMT Staff Project Manager. Most recently, he served as a Geotechnical Project Engineer and Special Inspector. In his new role, Edgar oversees the Geotechnical Department and provides guidance to a team of geotechnical engineers.
“The people at ECS have treated me with respect and have always welcomed me back with open arms,” says Edgar. “It is important to remember that success is not the key to happiness, happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing you will be successful.”
Edgar earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Clemson University. He is currently a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
