The ECS Group of Companies (ECS) is pleased to announce Amber Milot has been promoted to Director of Mergers & Acquisitions.
In this new role for the company, Ms. Milot will contribute to all aspects of strategic acquisitions, from inception through due diligence, valuation, negotiation, closing and integration. She will coordinate internal approval and communication processes to complete a transaction. Ms. Milot previously served as the Director of Talent Acquisition and will continue to direct the implementation and administration of talent acquisition strategies.
“Amber’s experience gives her unique insights into the work effort and collaboration required for successful mergers and acquisitions,” says Mr. Tony Fiorillo, President of the ECS Group of Companies. “She will have a strategic role in leading, planning and providing support for our expansion activities through acquisitions.”

Ms. Milot has worked in the engineering consulting business for almost 18 years. Beginning in February 2003, she served as the Controller overseeing the operations of the Accounting, Human Resources and Information Technology departments of her previous engineering firm, Ellis & Associates. Ellis was acquired by ECS in October 2015, at which time Ms. Milot was given the opportunity to expand on her role in the HR world by taking on the Recruiting Manager position. Her time serving in the leadership role of Controller gave her both the business and human background to successfully execute an expanded talent acquisition program.
