Chantilly Team Leaders Named

We are pleased to announce the following recent promotions in the Chantilly office of ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC.

Steve Adamchak, PE, has been named the Team A – DC/Arlington Manager in Chantilly. An employee since 2010, he previously served as Principal and Geotechnical Department Manager. Steve is a licensed Professional Engineer in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. He earned both his Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

Nick Meloy, PE, has been named the Team C – Loudoun/Winchester Manager, moving up from his position as Geotechnical Principal Engineer. He brings more than 14 years of industry experience to his new role. A licensed Professional Engineer in Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia, West Virginia and Georgia, Nick earned his Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of South Florida.

Kevin Hurley, PE, has been named the Team D Manager within Chantilly’s satellite office in National Harbor. Kevin has been with the firm since 2013 and most recently served as Senior Project Engineer with Capitol Services. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Daniel Spielvogel, PE, has been named the Team A – DC/Arlington Geotechnical Department Manager in Chantilly. Daniel joined ECS in 2014 and has served as the D3/D4 Manager with Capitol Services. He holds a Master and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the District of Columbia and New York.

Ian Whitehead, PE, has been named the Team B Geotechnical Department Manager in the Chantilly office. Celebrating 11 years with ECS in 2021, Ian moves up from Senior Project Engineer with the company. He earned his Master of Science in Civil and Infrastructural Engineering from George Mason University and his Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Virginia, Maryland and West Virginia.

Sean Millar, CPG, has been named the Team C Geotechnical Department Manager in Chantilly. Sean joined ECS in 2004 as an Engineering Field Geologist and has most recently served as Senior Project Manager with the Chantilly Geotechnical team. A Certified Professional Geologist in Virginia, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Geology from Radford University.
