ECS Florida, LLC is pleased to announce that Joe Champion, PE has been promoted to Subsidiary President. Prior to this appointment, Champion was the Branch Manager of the Jacksonville, Florida and Brunswick, Georgia offices. A member of the Jacksonville team since 2004, Champion was a Partner with Ellis & Associates, Inc. which merged with Engineering Consulting Services (ECS) in October 2015.
Champion has over 16 years of experience as a Geotechnical and Construction Materials Testing and Inspection Engineer. He specializes in public sector contract management and he also oversees ECS’ Foundation and Specialty Testing and Inspection services and has achieved an Advance Level through the PDCA/PDI Dynamic Measurement and Analysis exam.

A licensed Professional Engineer in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida.
