Engineering Consulting Services Announces National Harbor, MD Office

ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC (ECS) is pleased to announce the opening of its newest satellite office in the National Harbor area of Oxon Hill in Prince George’s County, Maryland. A consulting engineering firm that specializes in geotechnical, environmental, materials testing and facilities services, ECS has 15 locations throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region, including three in the metropolitan Washington, DC area: Chantilly, VA (which opened in 1988), Baltimore, MD (which opened in 1990) and the newly-established National Harbor, MD office. In addition to these locations, ECS Mid-Atlantic has operations throughout Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania.

ECS National Harbor provides consulting engineering services for clients in the City of Alexandria, Virginia, and the following Maryland counties: Prince George’s, Charles, St. Mary’s, and Calvert. Market segments served include commercial/residential; financial; local, state and federal government; healthcare; transportation; industrial and manufacturing; utilities and energy; communications; and education.

The office is led by Bryan Layman, P.E., LEED AP. He has more than 25 years of construction, design, and development experience and holds P.E. licenses in Virginia, Maryland, DC, and West Virginia. Mr. Layman has been an employee of ECS for more than 10 years and was most recently a Team Manager in ECS’s largest operations in Chantilly, VA. Mr. Layman will be assisted by Johnathan P. Hicks, P.E., a Senior Engineer who has been with ECS for nine years.
