ECS Florida Hires New Assistant Subsidiary Regional Manager

ECS is pleased to announce Matthew B. Sloan, PE, CGC, has joined ECS Florida, LLC as an Assistant Subsidiary Regional Manager. Over the course of his 18-year career, Matt has received the Engineering News -Record Southeast Young Professional 2019 award and been a member of multiple industry committees and leadership groups.

“We are extremely excited to have Matt join the ECS team and for him to offer new ideas and perspectives for the group,” says John Hicks, the Subsidiary Regional Manager. “Matt is a proven leader who is well respected in the local community and embodies the ECS culture of taking care of our clients and our people as his top priorities.”

As an Assistant Subsidiary Regional Manager, Matt will be responsible for assuming Branch Manager responsibilities for the Orlando, FL office to ensure its continued success and growth, engaging with the leadership in Central Florida to continue to build all service lines, while strategically positioning the team in emerging areas and markets to meet growth goals and further develop existing client relationships to increase ECS’ footprint.

“I have been very blessed to have had incredible mentors and opportunities to grow and learn throughout my career,” Matt says, “In this role with ECS I’m able to continue to build my skillset by developing and growing the region. We have all the opportunity in the world right now, we just need to get after it!”

Originally from Fort Pierce, FL, Matt received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
