Fall Field Appreciation Week

Reading Time: 2 minutes

This week is about recognizing and celebrating our 846 field employees. These hard-working, dedicated individuals combine forces and make a powerhouse team and we wanted to share a few notes of gratitude and appreciation from managers across the company.

“Great big thank you to all our field personnel for all your efforts, hard work and long hours worked these past few months and working through COVID-19 challenges. Your work and dedication to the company is valued and much appreciated.” – Jay Naik, PE CMT Department Manager, Chicago, IL

“I would like to express my sincerest appreciation to all of you for the hard work you do. Effort and hard work are paramount to our success, and it is all of you that make what we do possible. Thank you for being part of our company’s success this year and over the years. I greatly appreciate and value your hard work, dedication, and commitment. THANK YOU!”  – Walid Sobh, PE, Principal, Charlotte, NC

“This company was built with an attitude of doing what it takes to get the job done.  That mentality still somewhat manifests itself in several ways 32 years later.  In my opinion there is no better representation of this than with our field staff.  These folks are out there day in and day out, several hours in the day and several days in the week doing what it takes to get the job done. This company would not be where it is today without that mentality and without the field staff grinding, daily.”
 – James “Doc” Succop, CPG, Subsidiary Director of Environmental Services, Chantilly, VA

“If I can summarize my gratitude for our field staff in one sentence, it would be that a reliable employee is the best gift a leader can ask for. Thank you for being someone I can rely on.” – Eli Jacobs, CMT Manager, Dallas, TX

“I appreciate our field crews for putting in the long, hard, and sweaty hours that it takes to get the job done. Our crews work in all kinds of weather (heat, humidity, rain, and even the occasional freeze) to get the information that our office staff relies on to complete the project. The crews perform the work with little complaining and show an eagerness and willingness to work with the engineers to help our clients in their projects. The office staff cannot do what we with without them!” – Chris Egan, PE, Geotechnical Department Manager, Jacksonville, FL

“We owe a great deal of gratitude to these individuals for helping ECS to reach new heights.”  – Tony Fiorillo, President, ECS Group of Companies, Chantilly, VA
