ECS Richmond Adds New Geotechnical Project Manager

ECS is pleased to announce that Emma Walsh, E.I.T., has joined our Richmond, VA, office as a geotechnical project manager.

In her role, Emma is responsible for project management, stimulating the growth of ECS’ geotechnical department by identifying new opportunities, geotechnical reporting and analysis, managing construction materials testing (CMT) projects, preparing geotechnical and CMT proposals and many other tasks.

When asked about the opportunity to work for ECS, Emma said, “I’m very excited to work on more diverse projects than I have in the past. I look forward to watching projects grow from preliminary soil surveys all the way through construction.”

Born and raised in Poquoson, VA, Emma attended Virginia Tech where she received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in geotechnical engineering. In her free time, you can find Emma spending time with her friends and five siblings, exploring Richmond’s restaurants and wineries, reading or playing with her cat.
