Engineering Consulting Services Announces Savannah Staff Expansion

ECS Southeast, LLC (ECS) is pleased to announce that long-time ECS employee Joseph T. (Joe) Botte, CWI, RRO has joined the Savannah office to serve as the Area Services Manager. A consulting engineering firm that has been providing consulting engineering services to the Georgia market for more than 15 years, ECS specializes in geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, construction materials testing, and facilities services. In addition to their Savannah operations, ECS Southeast has three other locations in the metropolitan Atlanta area: Marietta, Buford, and Columbus. The firm also has operations in Nashville, TN.

An employee of ECS since 1998, Mr. Botte will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Savannah office. His areas of expertise include specialty testing, roofing, waterproofing, Special Inspections, Property Condition Assessments, and Building Envelope Services. Mr. Botte previously served as the Field Services Manager for the Virginia Beach office of ECS in their Mid-Atlantic subsidiary.

John C. Harpring, P.E. has been promoted to the role of Regional Director of Geotechnical Engineering. Mr. Harpring has over 15 years experience and is Vice President and Principal Engineer of ECS Southeast. He provides oversight for geotechnical studies and review of construction materials testing and observation services throughout Georgia. Mr. Harpring will be working closely with Mr. Botte to provide services to the Savannah area.
