ECS Florida, LLC Announces Staff Expansion
David Bearce, P.E. has joined the ECS Florida Tampa office as a CMT Department Manager. He has 18 years of professional experience in department management, project management, and field investigations. His experience includes oversight and execution of construction materials programs, geotechnical subsurface investigations, and threshold observations and documentation. Mr. Bearce has prepared geotechnical investigation reports for commercial chain outlets, as well as multi-family/mixed use facilities. In addition, he has authored supporting documentation reports for the application of Director's Authorization for local regulatory agencies to secure construction permits related to large scale landfill reclamation projects.
Chris M. Egan, EIT, has joined ECS Florida as a Geotechnical Project Manager. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Engineering degree in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Florida. Mr. Egan will be based out of the Orlando office. He has more than three years of experience in geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing in the ECS Chantilly office. Since beginning his career, Mr. Egan has managed residential, commercial, and industrial development projects and looks forward to using his skills and experience in the Florida market
Ryan Flipse, EIT, has joined ECS Florida as a Project Manager in the Field Services Division of the Orlando Office. Mr. Flipse received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida graduating in the top 10 percent of his class. He has over three years of inspection experience in District I focusing on FDOT Consultant Engineering, and Inspection Services (CEI). Mr. Flipse has worked on a variety of projects, including total bridge replacements in Hardee County, highway lighting installation on SR-80 in Lee County, guardrail retro-fits on U.S.-41 in Collier County, road widening of SR-64 in Manatee County, and a recently completed restoration of deteriorated lime rock on SR-17 in Polk County.
Mary E. Huntsman, Esq. has joined ECS Florida as the Marketing Coordinator. Ms. Huntsman will be based in the Orlando office, and will oversee all marketing functions for the Orlando, Tampa and West Palm Beach offices. She has practiced law in the Tampa Bay area since September 2012. Ms. Huntsman graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, and earned a Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law.
Barret Noble has joined ECS Florida as an Environmental Scientist in the Environmental Services Division of the Orlando office. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Earth Science with a Geophysics emphasis from the University of California San Diego. Mr. Noble has over three years of professional experience in environmental consulting conducting Phase I & Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and has worked previously as an environmental specialist. He holds several professional certifications, including Certified Inspector of Sediment and Erosion Control (CISEC), OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER, and asbestos building inspector.
