ECS Announces Regional Promotion

ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC is pleased to announce that Michael J. Galli, P.E., D.GE, has been promoted to Southern Region Manager for the Mid-Atlantic subsidiary. A member of the ECS team since 2000, he has served in many roles for the company including Williamsburg Branch Manager, Hampton Roads Area Manager and most recently Branch Manager of the Chesapeake, VA, office.

A licensed Professional Engineer in Virginia and North Carolina, Mr. Galli brings more than 30 years of geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing experience to his new position. “I am excited about my new role and look forward to making a significant contribution to the company throughout the region,” he said.

Mr. Galli is actively involved with many regional and state professional organizations and has served in many board level positions on organizations such as the American Society of Highway Engineers Greater Hampton Roads Chapter; the VA Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE); the Peninsula Chapter of ASCE; and the American Council of Engineering Companies. He also serves as a committee member on the Old Dominion University Civil and Environmental Engineering Visiting Council and was a task force member in the development of the Hampton Roads Special Inspection Guidelines and Procedures.

He received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Old Dominion University, his Masters of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and his Masters of Business Administration from Averett University. Additionally, Mr. Galli recently received his Diplomate, Geotechnical Engineering certification from the ASCE Academy of Geo-Professionals.
