ECS Announces New Southwest Facilities Manager

Engineering Consulting Services (ECS) is pleased to announce that Robert McKay has joined the firm as the Facilities Office Manager for ECS Southwest, LLP. Mr. McKay will bring his 15-plus years of experience in engineering professional services, operations management and personnel management to lead and establish ECS as a premier provider of facilities services in the southwestern United States.

Prior to joining ECS, Robert grew and led a team of 50 facility engineers, from interns to nationally recognized experts, across eights states and 15 field offices. His leadership and background in facility consulting services complement ECS’ geotechnical, construction materials and environmental services.

“We are excited to have Rob bring his technical and leadership skills to ECS; he will provide a wide breadth of experience and knowledge to the Facilities Group for Southwest Services,” said Mark Zortman, ECS Southwest Subsidiary President. “Rob has worked on a wide variety of facilities projects, managed local and regional teams of engineers and he knows the region, applicable regulations and ‘tricks of the trade.’ His experience and expertise will greatly enhance our ability as a firm to ‘Set the Standard’ for Facilities Services.”

Mr. McKay holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He was the recipient of the 40 Under 40 Consulting Engineer award (Consulting-Specifying Engineer, 2010).
