Project Description

This project consisted of the construction of a 126 bed hospital, and a five story tower with adjoining three story medical wings on a 75 acre campus.  Additional construction included four additional out buildings, retaining walls, and associated pavements.  

ECS Involvement

·         Conducted a preliminary study

·         Performed settlement analyses using preliminary loads for the tower

·         Recommended higher loaded tower foundations and short aggregate piers below the shallow foundation to reduce costs

·         Performed Refraction Microtremor testing to evaluate the site seismic class
