Project Description:

For a major commercial acquisition company, ECS surveyed numerous commercial facilities using state of the art inspection protocols. Demolition and renovation surveys were completed by licensed asbestos building inspectors on schedule and under budget.

ECS Involvement:

·         The asbestos surveys provided information on the presence of asbestos containing materials (ACM) in accordance with the National Emission Standard for a Hazardous Air Pollutant (NESHAP) for asbestos, 40 CFR 61 Subpart M.

·         ECS inspectors observed the various construction components present within the structures and collected bulk samples of suspect ACM. Thorough investigations revealed flooring materials hidden beneath carpet and tile. Bulk samples were submitted for asbestos analysis by Polarized Light Microscopy to an accredited laboratory.
